Wound Care Certified Education for the Healthcare Professional – Education and Testing Opportunity

Required course:  Wound Care Certification Prep Course – 34 hours of didactic material for the opportunity to test for the WCC® credential. The purpose of the Wound Care Education and testing opportunity for the WCC® certification is to distinguish passing candidates amongst others in similar professional fields. By completing the education through Kaleidoscope Clinical Consulting in partnership with Excell College, the candidate will be demonstrating their comprehension of skin management, wound treatment, wound healing, and the most appropriate treatment for management and wound prevention as the providing clinician.  This educational program meets the criteria established by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy® (NAWCO) for education providers. Wound Certified Sales Professional (WCSP)

Required course: Wound Management for Sales Professionals.

The purpose of the Wound Certified Sales Professional (WCSP) certification is to distinguish passing candidates amongst others in the sales industry.By passing the WCSP exam, the candidate will be demonstrating their comprehension of wound management, product knowledge and sales interaction within the healthcare industry. Wound Certified Sales Professional – Animal Health (WCSP-AH)

Required course: Wound Management in Animal Health for Sales Professionals.

The purpose of the Wound Certified Sales Professional – Animal Health (WCSP-AH) certification is to distinguish passing candidates in the animal health industry. By passing the WCSP-AH exam through Kaleidoscope Clinical Consulting, the candidate will be demonstrating their comprehension of the wound healing process and the best products for animal skin management and wound prevention.  Refer to candidate handbook for additional information.

Wound Prevention Certified (WPC)

WPC is designed for CNA’s, MA’s, EMT’s and ancillary staff to add to the multi-disciplinary approach for wound prevention and treatment. Central to the WPC®’s mission is the delivery of high-quality care aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes in wound healing and prevention.
The WPC follows a structured plan of care, offers patient education, and employs preventive measures
to address wound care needs, skin complications, appliance requirements, positioning strategies,
and psychosocial support.

Our next WPC class will be held in Las Vegas , NV and Kaleidoscope was gifted 50 grants for this class.  Class will be limited to the first 50 signed up.
